Obama official goes to VA mosque, Iranian general calls for burning of White House, death of U.S. commanders as Muslims riot and kill.
An Obama Defense Department official visited a mosque in Virginia on Friday to repeat the Administration's apology over Korans that were burned at a U.S. base in Afghanistan. But Obama's groveling is not working as planned.

Peter Lavoy, acting assistant secretary of defense for Asian and Pacific security affairs, attended services at the ADAMS Center in Sterling, Va., and told the congregation he was there to express his "sincere regret" on behalf of the Department of Defense for the incident.
On Monday, coalition forces at Bagram Air Field brought a truckload of Islamic holy books from a detention facility to an incinerator after the detainees allegedly used the texts to pass secrets and what were described as "extremist" messages to one another.
Although some Afghans stepped in, some of the books were already burned.
As a result, Muslims went berserk, killing 24 people in two days.
Instantly, the Obama Administration went on an apology spree, prostrating itself before the Afghan government and promising to bring those responsible to justice.
The Administration, however, has not demanded an apology for the deaths of American soldiers killed by protesters.

The string of apologies from the Obama administration has come under harsh criticism by Republicans. Presidential candidate Newt Gingrich called the president's apology "an outrage" and a "destructive double standard," while Sarah Palin tweeted that the "US trained & protected Afghan Army can apologize for killing our soldiers yesterday."
GOP Presidential candidate Rick Santorum called the apology a mistake while appearing on "This Week."
“There was nothing deliberately done wrong here. This was something that happened as a mistake. Killing Americans in uniform is not a mistake, ” he said. “Say it’s unfortunate…but to apologize for something that was not an intentional act is something that the president of the United States in my opinion should not have done.”
The President's apology has not only outraged Republicans, it seems to have fallen on deaf ears in the Muslim world.
Fars News reported Saturday that a top Iranian military leader said that nothing less than the destruction of the White House and the death of U.S. commanders would suffice.
"The US has committed such an ugly action and burnt Quran because of the heavy slap it has been given by Islam," Commander of Iran's Basij (volunteer) force Brigadier General Mohammad Reza Naqdi said on Saturday.
He stressed Muslims' sensitivity to the crimes underway in Afghanistan by the US forces, and said Muslims do not accept the US apology, because it makes numerous military mistakes and then just asks for the Afghans' apology, and this is not acceptable.
"Nothing but burning the White House can relieve the wound of us, the Muslims, caused by the Burning of Quran in the US," he underscored.
"Their apology can be accepted only by hanging their commanders; hanging their commanders means an apology," he reiterated.
Reuters reported that Afghan President Hamid Karzai is demanding those responsible be tried and adds that NATO has agreed, "but that could not be immediately confirmed."
CNN reported Sunday that seven U.S. military personnel were injured in Afghanistan when protesters tossed hand grenades at a U.S. base.
Thousands of Muslims rioted in Jakarta, Indonesia on Sunday, according to CNN.
On Saturday, two U.S. military personnel were shot in the back of the head in an attack the Taliban has taken credit for.

In response to Saturday’s killings, Gen. John Allen, commander of NATO and U.S. forces, recalled all NATO personnel from Afghan ministries over fears of another attack. The perpetrator behind the killings is still at large.
Meanwhile, as Obama bows and scrapes before every Muslim he can find, Pres. Karzai appealed for calm throughout Afghanistan.
“Now is the time to return to calm and not let our enemies use this situation,” he said.
